Flat 3 has its own independent exterior door at the side of the building.
All the flats are offered with new 125-year leases. Ground rents are £250pa per flat. Service charges (including buildings insurance, maintenance, cleaning and electricity to common parts eg halls, landings & stairwells) will vary from year to year.
Estimated service charges for 2017-18 are approximately £3000, divided between the flats as follows: Flat 1 15%, Flat 2 18%, Flat 3 20%, Flat 4 14% and Flat 5 15%.
The freeholder intends to offer the freehold to the leaseholders after the final flat is sold. The leaseholders will then effectively own the freehold jointly and be able to set whatever services charges they feel are appropriate.
