Croft House is a beautiful example of a Georgian seaside villa, understood to have been built in 1828. Lynton & Lynmouth have a few examples of these remaining architectural gems, although the majority of the architecture in the twin villages is Victorian. Croft House’s symmetry, it’s gabled Entrance Hall, ornate fireplaces & central stick balustrades are all outstanding features of the Georgian era.
