Run until recently as a B&B plus self-catering business, Countisbury Lodge offers the possibility of five en-suite letting rooms, a two-bedroom cottage and a one-bedroom flat.
It has been run by the present owners as a ‘life-style’ business trading from Easter to October only each year. We understand the self-catering business has generated about £25,000pa and the B&B rooms have added a further £20,000pa.
The property has dual planning status. It can be fully residential (perhaps for a multi-generation family); fully commercial (B&B with two holiday letting units); or a home-with-income (residential in one part, with other parts used for letting).
Mains water. Private drainage (septic tank). Mains electricity. Oil-fired central heating via Rayburn range.
Since 2015, the current owners have completed various works and improvements to the property. These include: Main house roof battened and felted; new oil tank; septic tank and drains surveyed, cleaned and repaired; new kitchen and plastering in cottage; new fire alarm system installed.
